It is my eighth week of training and we are pretty much done. One State of Arizona Licensing test, two midterms and one final and I passed all of them. I start my job on the phones next week. So glad things are working out for me here.

On other news my brother will be out here in mid Novembers. Gonna show him the sites and see Le Tigre. I think he is gonna see a Cardinals game while I am at work. Least they are playing the Giants.

Not much planned for my days off. Gonna go to a Pilates class on Friday and go shopping at Trader Joes. I haven't been to Trader Joes since I left Portland. Saturday I might go out to Scottsdale again and check out a few more shops.

Only two more days after training this week!!!

The last few months have gone by so fast here. Things are going swell!!

I got another tattoo today. Well actually I added on to one. i have a band of purple stars on my right ankle and I had smaller tourquoise stars and pink stardust added. It was so cute. I went to this one studio to make an appointment but this one artist, Joey, had cool ideas and he didn't have any clients right now so he inked me baby. Oh did I mention he was fucking HOT!!! Okay I admit I find men with lots of tattooes HOT!! But I really am happy with my tattoos. They are so addictive!!

Woohoo time for another update. My friend from LA was here the last two weekends. Long story. But it was great to see her. I am discovering Tempe. I am addicted to Xtreme Bean. It is a coffee house down the street from me. Totally cool place. Sarah and I had coffee there last weekend and played connect four. Pretty fucking rad. Also, got a manicure and pedicure for 24 bucks also down the street from me. Finally getting my hair cut next Friday at the Carsten Aveda Institute. Twelve bucks to have a student cut my hair. I haven't had my hair cut since April when I got it cut short. I am due for a hair cut. Gonna get up early tomorrow and hit the gym. There is a Bally's down the street from me. Trying to get into a routine. I have been here over a month, there is no reason not to be working out again. Work is going well. Only three more weeks of training. Then I am a free woman!! HEHE. Not much planned for this weekend. Maybe hit happy hour and get some good sushi. Kinda spent too much money lately, so need to curb my habits til I can get more money saved up. Other than that, Tempe is starting to feel like home. I even found a Doctor and a Dentist. Gotta keep my tooth obsession up with cleanings every 3 or 4 months. Thinking I will be back in Ptown for a visit in February or March. Ciao....

Time for a much due update. This week was crazy. I had to pass the State of Arizona Personal Lines Insurance test and I did. We studied all week and I passed the first time around. Our company gives your three tries until they terminate you. Thank goodness that is behind me. What else went and saw Concrete Blonde last Friday and that was a great show. Good to see how they have progressed all these years. Today have errands to run and then off to Mill Ave. Found a great Sushi place with a good happy hour. Everything is falling into place. Next weekend my friend from LA is visiting. Gonna show her the sites and hang out. Will be a good time!!

I survived my first week in Arizona. Things are going good, as well as my new job. Think things are going for the best. I am seeing Concrete Blonde this Friday at the Marguee in Tempe. I can't wait to see them. They have been around for ages. My secret confession? I really, really like Ashlee Simpson and I think her cd rocks. I need help. Anybody else have any secret confessions they want to fess up too?

My stuff arrived. Well except the bookcases I took apart and put in a big box. They may be in someone's house. She will look and call the movers. They took two big 50 foot trailers down since thye moved 6 families/people from Portland to Phoenix. I wanted to get away from Portland but it came to me. Almost unpacked. I need a bottle of Hypnotique. Least I can buy it at the grocery stores here. WOOHOO.

Ooh the grand total of mice now is up to 9!! Found one Friday night. Check this out, it was on a trap, but didn't die in the trap. I was passed out dead from the Dcon. So far, they have gone through almost two boxes in the last week in my water heater closet. I will never have to be alone again.

Holy Crap, I had five mice in my apartment this week. Starting from Memorial Day that makes the grand total SIX. I am not a dirty person. These are those little field mice. Pest control set up

Wait I just heard a snap. Checked the closet and now that makes the total SEVEN fucking dead mice in my apartment. One just died in a trap.

I threw a fit and got them to steam clean my carpets and wanted my rent reduced. They said they would steam clean the carpet and no rent reduction. That was at mice number 3. By number 4 or 5 I am getting next month free. I am moving out anyways. This is so ghetto.

So, my plans to vacation in Phoenix are ready to go. I arrive Juy 10th and leave July 17th. I have two interviews so I am hoping I get one of these jobs. One would be with the same company. My hotel is in Central Phoenix kinda near the Children's Museum and stuff like that. That seeems pretty logical.

Only three weeks away. WOOHOO. If I don't leave soon I will lose my sanity.
